Getting to Know Internation Contacts Part 2

I had the opportunity to look at the Developing Child website from Harvard University. I think a lot of what their program demonstrates as it relates to our discussion of equity this week is how do we support the need for healthy children and healthy families not just in our country but in other countries as well. Through their Global Children's Initiative beginning with Brazil they are working to use the science of the health and development of children to strategize ways to support the necessity and development of new and improved policies. This program is working to do what many others are also doing. They are trying to create an equitable society not just in their own community but in the world. It is amazing to examine how this intiative develops.
